On Tuesday, 1 November, we are marching against state capture. While we face a deepening crisis of inequality and economic exclusion, criminals and factions are doing everything in their power to capture the state. If we allow the state to be captured, it will not only worsen the crisis, but make it impossible to overcome. The fight against inequality will be lost for generations.
We will be issuing a memorandum with demands to the Public Protector, the National Prosecuting Authority and the South African Revenue Service. The memorandum will be released on Tuesday.
DETAILS:
Date: Tuesday, 1 November 2016
Time: Assemble at 10h00
Place: We will assemble at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology parking lot (corner Tennant and Keizersgracht Streets) and march to the provincial offices of the Public Protector on Wale Street and then proceed to the NPA at 115 Buitengracht Street, Cape Town.
